What is a Cutting Shape?

A cutting shape is used to cut your photos into circles, hearts, and squares. When I was experimenting with attaching my photos onto the mobile pieces, I thought it would add an extra dimension to the overall effect by adding different shapes.

Even if you just use one shape for all your photos the end result is pleasing. Experiment.... be creative... and just have fun. Once you get the hang of it, try using different shapes and sizes... try putting more than one photo shape on a mobile "piece." You won't be disappointed. A wonderful thing happens when you start to attach your photo shapes to the mobile. Oh, and the adhesive squares (that you use to attach the photos to the mobile) gives your work of art a cool 3-D look!
